MAAA Executive Board
President: Amy Mayer (Minnetonka/Wayzata)
Amy was hired as a special ed para at Minnetonka High School in 2006 and got involved with Adapted Athletics in 2007 as a CI Floor Hockey coach. I have been the Adapted Athletics Coordinator at Minnetonka and Wayzata since 2016 and the Unified Special Olympics Advisor at Minnetonka since 2017. My involvement with adapted sports has been a highlight for me and working with the MAAA Board of Directors, an honor.
Vice-President: Jeff Copler (Rochester)
Jeff serves as the Rochester Raiders Adapted Floor Hockey Head Coach in the P.I. Division.
Treasurer: Ian Porter (Mounds View/Irondale/Roseville)
Ian serves as the Head Coach for the Mounds View/Irondale/Roseville Rams in the C.I. Division.

CI South – Brett Kosidowski (Dakota United – Rosemount/Apple Valley/Eagan)
Brett has been coaching the Dakota United Hawks since 2006 (his first year of teaching in the school district). Brett feels that his life has changed for the better since working with this group of athletes throughout the state, and he has truly enjoyed getting to know so many gifted athletes over the years. Brett lives in Farmington, Minnesota with his wife Erin and two children, Kinsley and Kaden.
CI North – Kayla Bergerson Ward (Minnetonka/Wayzata)
Kayla has been involved with adapted athletics, coaching for the Minnetonka/Wayzata Lakers for 6 years. She currently works as a building substitute/educational assistant for Intermediate District 287. While growing up, Kayla was involved with therapies and activities at The Courage Center which inspired her to help bring out people’s unique abilities.
PI South – Mary Bohland (St. Paul Humboldt)
Mary serves as the P.I. Division coach at St. Paul Humbolt.
PI North – Pete Kutches (Anoka-Hennepin)
Pete is physical Education teacher at Andover HS in Anoka-Hennepin School District. Involved in Adapted Athletics for 16 years in both the PI and CI divisions. Head Coach for: PI Soccer, CI Floor Hockey, and PI Softball. Adapted Athletics Coordinator for Anoka-Hennepin.
